Giving  the teacher an apple to polish her up for the year and convince her that little Johnny possesses excellent skills is outdated. Why not make sure Johnny is an excellent writer by playing writing games from Teach Writing Without a Pencil with him. Give the teach a copy also.  She will love it and Johnny  won’t hate writing.
