Do you ever find yourself searching for a word your mama always used and it’s not in any dictionary? I “swannee” it drives me crazy. I get downright “flustrated” and waste hours searching. Take the verb wauller. “Peggy Arlene, don’t wauller around in that mud.” Hours later, when I finally decide “wallow” is as close as it gets, I sigh and wish mama would have left a personal dictionary.
